Webinar: DNS Training Session for ISPs: DNSSEC101

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) Technical Engagement team, in collaboration with the Internet Service Providers and Connectivity Providers (ISPCP) constituency, is excited to announce a series of training sessions aimed at both technical and non-technical individuals, focusing on topics related to the Domain Name System (DNS). These sessions are intended for all Internet Service Providers (ISPs) globally. All sessions will be conducted online at convenient time zones.

The third session, DNSSEC101, is scheduled for Monday 2 December 2024 from 15:00 to 16:30 UTC. DNS Security Extensions (DNSSEC) is the security update that all DNS servers should implement. From a resolution point of view, today, the cost is practically zero and from an authoritative server’s point of view there are many good practices and examples that you can follow while implementing it in the way that is most convenient for you. This globally adopted protocol is a consensus-based best practice that all ISPs should adopt. We will explain how the protocol works
