2006 gNSO Council Seat Elections

The ISPCP Secretariat is pleased to announce the results of the 2006 gNSO Council Seat elections held in October and November of 2006.  There were two seats open for election -- each with terms expiring at the ICANN Annual Meeting in 2008.

Elected to two-year terms to the gNSO Council are:

  • Tony Harris, CABASE (Argentina)
  • Greg Ruth, Verizon (US)

The current representatives to the gNSO Council for the ISPCP are:

  • Tony Holmes, BT (UK) [term expires at the ICANN Annual Meeting 2007]
  • Tony Harris, CABASE (Argentina) [term expires at the ICANN Annual Meeting 2008]
  • Greg Ruth, Verizon, (US) [term expires at the ICANN Annual Meeting 2008]

2007 NomCom Representative Election

The ISPCP Secretariat is pleased to announce the results of the election for the ISPCP representative to the ICANN NomCom. The NomCom has the important job of selecting individuals to serve on the ICANN Board of Directors, gNSO Council and other crucial ICANN organizations.

The 2007 NomCom Representative from the ISPCP is:

  • Tony Harris, CABASE (Argentina)

Tony will be serving the second of two terms on the NomCom.  Previous representatives from the ISPCP have been Antonio Tavares (2003-2004) and Mark McFadden (2005).
